In recent years, the number of domestic new energy vehicles has been growing rapidly, and the construction of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure has been included in the national "new infrastructure" key areas, the charging infrastructure is expected to feed the development of new energy vehicles to a higher level.
Since this year,Qingdao Yunlu has continued to strengthen cooperation in the field of intelligent charging equipment with TCC. At the end of 2020, Qingdao Yunlu's new "amorphous alloy oil-immersed transformer" was officially in operation at the TCC Qingdao City Public Fast Charging Station. It is the first time that amorphous alloy transformers are used in the field of electric vehicle charging.

Amorphous alloy transformer is an energy-saving new technology power distribution equipment, the manufacturing principle is mainly the use of amorphous alloy materials instead of silicon steel transformers.Compared with traditional one, amorphous alloy, as one of the materials used to make transformers, has outstanding characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection, and is a recyclable green product with the whole life cycle of "energy saving in manufacturing, energy saving in use and energy saving in recycling", which is a natural "carbon neutral" practitioner.
As China's policy of "energy saving and consumption reduction" continues to be promoted, the country is making greater efforts to encourage the development of energy-saving, low-noise and intelligent power distribution products that are widely used. Transformer is the main equipment of electrification and the basic equipment of transmission and distribution, with great potential for energy saving and consumption reduction, which plays an important role in achieving the double carbon target. Some of the high energy consumption distribution transformers running in the network are no longer in line with the industry development trend, facing the demand for technology upgrade and replacement, which will be gradually replaced by energy-saving, material-saving, environmental protection and low-noise amorphous alloy transformers in the future.
The TCC City Public Fast Charging Network is an organic and intelligent system that combines substation and distribution equipment. The application of energy-saving amorphous alloy transformers can effectively reduce the power loss, thus relieving the pressure on the power grid. At present, the charging system equipment equipped with amorphous transformers has been running continuously for 9 months, and the measured comparison shows that the product performance is reliable and ensures the safe operation of charging equipment; the amorphous transformer has 72.32% lower no-load loss than the traditional silicon steel transformer, with remarkable energy-saving effect, and is gradually being applied and promoted in more field stations.

In the context of "carbon neutrality" and "new power system", charging network will become the core network to support new energy vehicles and new energy power generation. In terms of products, TCC charging network redefines the group charging of automobiles with features of group management and control, modular structure, active protection and flexible charging. On the basis of retaining the basic functions of charging piles, the control, protection and display metering are pushed back to a box-type substation covering an area of less than 6 square meters, including high-voltage distribution, transformer, micro-dispatch unit, intelligent charging module and CMS charging management module, with a high degree of intensification.
The application of one amorphous alloy oil-immersed transformer in charging equipment can effectively reduce the loss of distribution network, which is expected to save 4,853 kWh of electricity per year and 145,600 kWh of electricity in 30 years, which can reduce carbon emission by 145 tons in total.
As the technology pioneer and standard setter of charging network in the world, TCC has operated and served 335 cities nationwide, with a total of 280,000 charging piles invested, supporting 1.5 million electric vehicles charging; if all the charging stations invested by TCC adopt amorphous alloy transformers, with an average capacity of 800kVA transformer, it is expected to save electricity of about 5,802,000 kWh per year and reduce carbon dioxide emission of about 5.784 million tons, truly "energy saving and emission reduction", to achieve the "double carbon" goal.
Achieving "carbon neutrality" is an important step for mankind to face the future. Cleaner energy production and electrification of energy consumption are the fundamental measures to achieve carbon neutrality, and it is also a task that requires the joint participation of all parties.
"Strong combination, special call". At present, new energy vehicles have entered the stage of rapid development driven by the market, charging infrastructure should follow the trend and be moderately advanced; the application of new transformers in the intelligent charging network can better help the construction and promotion of intelligent and energy-saving charging equipment, which is of great significance to the realization of the national carbon peak and carbon neutral strategic goals.
As a multidisciplinary, multidimensional, interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary industry, the development of the charging industry is an important development opportunity for the transformation of energy structure and the integration and innovation of new transportation and new energy. In the future, the energy-saving and intelligent development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure can better promote the optimization and upgrading of the industry chain, help the development of electric vehicle industry, and contribute to the early realization of the "double carbon goal".
